Band profile

Paul- Guitar & Vox.

Rich- Guitars.

Chris- Keyboard/Synth.

Beamo- Drums/Percussion/Vocals.

Roger- Bass Guitar.

Paul "Coup". Vocals and Telecaster fanatic in the band, driven by credible influences such as Gallagher, Sumner, Marr and other North West of England "elite" artists. Appreciation of bands from the Factory stable eg: Joy Division/New Order/Happy Mondays is evident and many a pound or two was spent whilst trawling through the record shops of Brum circa 88.

Rich "Arky". Self confessed devotee of an eclectic blend of music from Pixies/Nirvana powerpop to post industrial punk doom n gloom of Interpol/Editors. Shimmering Guitar influenced Indie bands such as House of Love, Ride and of course The Smiths adorned the walls for the bedroom player that hails Marr, Chadwick, Cradock and Black as "The benchmark". Rich can always be found close to a chorus/delay effect whilst playing with the band.

Beamo. Back to 92' and student days Beamo joined a band at Uni but could not play for toffee so blagged away and acquired the spot of sticksman. On loan drum kit at the ready the Uni boys proceeded to tour the North London circuit. Bull and Gate, Hope and Anchor, Mean Fiddler

etc. After finally learning to play the drums the band split in 1998 (the dynamic was less sucessful when the band played in time). From there beckoned a move back to sunny Telford, after brief spells in The Sheriff of Rock County, Duvet (covers band) and The Chevrons (far too MOR) until finally meeting Lowlife/Peloton in late summer of 07'. Influences, Morrissey, Brian Wilson, Bacharach and all quality songsmiths.

Chris. aka "Ivory Tinkler" is no stranger to the live circuit having played at gigs/festivals around the country for a number of years. Strange but true moments are that he has played the piano in a New York Hotel to a willing audience a couple of years back and in stark contrast appeared on the same bill as Judas Priest at a festival. Thats showbiz!!

Alongside Rich & Paul, Chris is a founding member of the band and also takes the trophy (If ever there was one) of band funnyman always on hand to share his comedy talent, although Chris will probably deny this in true deadpan style if asked.

Musical inspiration is drawn from a spectrum of era's too vast to mention in this text but Lennon, McCartney, Wilson, Gabriel rank highly.

Roger. Bass man Rog is without doubt one of the most laid back guys we know, and so it goes that his choice of instrument in the Bass Guitar is the perfect choice. Having gigged dozens of times in the past probably most notable being with highly respected local band "The House Of Alice" Roger ploughs that bass line straight and true and plays music how it should be played "With enthusiasm and feeling"

Our Rog maybe found from time to time thumping a comedy (esque) bass line through his amp for pure laugh value between songs in the set. This is standard practice if you have not seen us before. :-)
